Q2 2024: Top Turn-Based Tactics Games in the UK on Unified Platforms

The UK's turn-based tactics gaming scene has seen some interesting trends in Q2 2024. Sensor Tower's data provides a snapshot of how five leading games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Bowmasters - Multiplayer Game started strong with downloads peaking at 19K in the first week of April but saw a gradual decrease to 12K by the end of June. The game's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a significant drop from 218K to 159K over the quarter. Revenue showed fluctuations with a notable spike to $4K in late May.

For Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™, the second quarter was a rollercoaster with revenue reaching a high of $106K in mid-April before settling at $91K towards the end of June. Downloads peaked at 3.4K in mid-April and dipped to 1.6K by the quarter's close. Weekly active users experienced a modest rise from 16K to 14.6K.

Tank Stars showed steady performance in revenue, maintaining a range between $499 and $728, with a slight uptick at the start and end of the quarter. Downloads were highest at 3.8K in the last week of June, and weekly active users saw an increase from 21.4K to 20.5K.

Archery Bastions: Castle War saw its revenue grow, with a notable jump to $334 in the second week of June. Downloads hit a high of 2.1K in late May, but there was a drop to 1.3K by the quarter's end. The weekly active users had a slight incline, peaking at 20.9K in mid-June.

Lastly, Flick Chess! experienced a decline in both revenue and downloads throughout the quarter, with revenue falling to zero by late May. Weekly active users mirrored this decline, dropping from 6.4K in the first week of April to just 1.2K by the end of June.
